Known as “The Sparkling Sin-sation”, Ruby Spencer is the Gem of Chicago. She is a burlesque dancer, producer, event personality, and instructor. Influenced by old Hollywood and classic showgirls of the 40s and 50s, she has been delighting audiences with her glittering personality, sultry looks, and playful performance style. Ruby has appeared in shows and festivals throughout the country and up to our neighbors to the North. She can be found regularly on stages in Chicago including Untitled, The Drifter, and Bordel.

Ruby is honored to be a 2023 Miss Hollywood Burlesque Festival Competitor, 2022 Ohio Burlesque Festival Headliner, and 2022 Miss Viva Las Vegas finalist. She is the producer of a live band burlesque show, Live & Lucky, and the owner of Chicago School of Burlesque where she teaches movement classes, act development, business workshops, and offers private lessons.

INSTRUCTOR

Hot Tawdry is a burlesque dancer, emcee, producer, and instructor in Chicago, Il. For the Past Ten years, she's been dazzling audiences in Chicago, New Orleans, New York, and beyond with her signature blend of classically nerdy burlesque.

For eight years she has been producing Burlesque and Cabaret entertainment for Foundation Room at House of Blues with her longest-running monthly show, House of Burlesque. Past productions include the weekly Live Band Revue, Foundation Cabaret, and Haus of Drag (with Dusty Bahls and Mikki Miraj). She produces around town with Hot Tawdry Presents at Ina Mae Tavern, Morgan's on Fulton, The Dawson, and The Vig. Hot Tawdry can be seen performing and hosting regularly in Chicago at Untitled, The Drifter, Bordel, and The Newport Theater.

Lady Ginger, a Chicago icon, made her Burlesque debut in 2007, and has performed all over the country, including New York, San Francisco, Dallas, Minneapolis, and Toronto, Canada, both as a soloist and as a member of the Chicago Starlets. This “Baroness of Bump” can be founds regularly on Chicago stages.

She started teaching burlesque in 2010, and has taught classes in Beginning burlesque, advanced choreography, and act development, as well as specialty classes like "Bumps and Grinds" and 60's style go-go. Known for her classic, dirty bump and grind, Lady Ginger loves working with students at all experience levels to find that confidence and bring out that inner sexy.

A Chicago burlesque performer, event host, teacher, and model, Shimmy LaRoux is your bad girl with good home training. Bringing a combination of quirky charm and infectious energy, Shimmy is able to channel classic Hollywood, be playfully cheeky, or serve fierce diva realness.

Shimmy is an internationally traveling performer and was crowned Miss Burlesque World 2022 and named the #21 most influential burlesque performer in the world. She has recently closed the 2022 Dutch Burlesque Festival and performed at the 2022 Stockholm Burlesque Festival (where she was crowned the OctbooberFest Winner). She is also honored to be a 2022 What the Funk Fest Headliner, 2022 Miss Viva Las Vegas finalist, 2019 Mover, Shaker, and Innovator at the Burlesque Hall of Fame, headliner at the 2019 Ohio Burlesque Festival, winner of Best Overall at the 2019 Dublin Burlesque Festival, producer of Shimmy's House Party in Chicago!

She teaches and tours bringing her energetic rock and roll styling to the stage and studio. Lilly has been performing burlesque for over 11 years while teaching for 9 Lilly has been producing rock and roll and alt burlesque productions and teaching neo-burlesque all over Chicago. She teaches with The Newport theater and The Chicago School Of Burlesque, where she specializes in heels, boa, rock and roll, fans, and tassel twirling. Dusty Bahls is a fiery drag sensation and producer known for his ridiculous antics and charismatic stage presence. With over 20 years working as a professional artist, Dusty has experience in a variety of art forms ranging from a video editor and videographer for Playboy, Inc. to sound designer and photographer, to DJ opening for artists such as KC and the Sunshine Band, The Pointer Sisters and Sheena Easton. Not only is Dusty a drag king and multimedia expert, but he's also a fire performer who has been spinning his blazing balls across North America for the past thirteen years. In 2018, Dusty was given the title of MisTer Illinois Gay Rodeo and has been seen regularly in a sash and 10 gallon hat ever since. As a performer, Dusty prides himself on creating a man worth celebrating on stage, and creating quality, amusing narratives to share with his audiences. He believes that other performers can create the humans they want to see in the world through their art and performance work. With a twinkle in his eye, Dusty will leave you thinking about Bahls all night long.

Gaea lady is the Pussy Magic Priestess, an enchantress by nature, a force that will make you feel the earth move. She fuels her passion for life into performance art, mentorship, teaching, silk veils, fire dancing retreats, and whatever tickles her pleasure of the moment. Deeply trusting her unique magic, Gaea seeks to inspire creative authentic expression in all she encounters.

Gaea is an internationally renowned award winning headlining performer and teacher. She is the creatrix of the "Pussy Magic Burlesque Program", and co-leads Ignite Fire Dancing Retreats with Kiki Mason all over the world.

Miss NYXon is a performer down to her witchy bones. Growing up in the professional wrestling industry, hailing from the iconic wrestling dynasty Los Guerreros, she has been in front of audiences of thousands since 13years old.

She has been a professional wrestler, ring announcer, dancer and stunt woman. Currently she is a dancer and choreographer for The Vaudettes- an international touring rock n roll dance troupe.

Known as the Glittering Goddess with the Heart of Gold, Ms. B LaRose is an electric, fun loving burlesque entertainer, producer, and motivator based in Chicago. This fiery Filipina-Latina brings a raw sultry, mischievous side smile that has been captivating audiences worldwide including stops in Germany, Netherlands, England, & Scotland and was dubbed "The Biggest Tease" at the 2018 International Latin & Hispanic Burlesque Festival.

A Chicago Powerhouse, she is now building equity for our artists as Co-producer with LatinEsque, Owner of Honey Hive Productions LLC and Producer of the infamous STRIPPED bringing world class entertainment highlighting diversity, inclusivity and love for the art of burlesque!

Specializing in acrobatic chair dance, feather fan dancing, and camp, Tila Von Twirl is one third of The Amazing Bendable Poseable Dolls of Doom, a core member of Fringe Factor Dance and one half of the power duo, Lando Blaze and Narcissa. Most recently, Tila has delighted in producing and hosting, on occasion, the weekly show PeekEasy at Newport Theater in Chicago, IL. Tila is also producer, curator and host of the queer forward, interactive variety show, Embodiment.

Tila is a trained dancer, acrobat, and movement educator outside the sphere of burlesque. Within that sphere, Tila has taught classes for Newport Theater Camp(Chicago), Chicago Academy of Burlesque, Chicago School of Burlesque, Detroit School of Burlesque, School of Shimmy (SF), Studio L'amour(Chicago), Fishnet Follies (SF), and BurlyCon (Portland) among others. Von Twirl delights in teaching and loves challenging how students see themselves and what they are capable of.

SioBast is an international burlesque artist based in Chicago for the last 9 years. She is the founder of LatinEsque and the founder/producer of Obscura. She has mentored performers such as Reneé Ryder and Juju Valentine. She has worked closely on choreography for big names like Faggedy Randy and Angela Eve. Dahlia Fatale is an award-winning travelling contortionist, burlesque performer and instructor based in Chicago. On stage, she combines the smoothness of classical dance training with the tease of slow burn burlesque, and the bizarre and super-human styling of contortion to create unforgettable audience experiences. As an instructor, Dahlia brings together unique perspectives from dance, circus and anatomy education (yes, she's touched muscles from the inside too!). She believes that movement is for all humans and loves watching students grow and develop their styles, personas, and physical abilities!
